In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Alif Lam Mim Sad. 1 A book has been revealed to you, (Muhammad). You should not hesitate to convey its warning and its good advice to the believers. 2 "Follow what has been sent down unto you by your Sustainer, and follow no masters other than Him. How seldom do you keep this in mind! 3 And how many a township We have destroyed, upon them Our violence came at night or while they were taking their midday rest. 4 And when Our punishment overtook them they had nothing to say except crying out: "We have indeed been sinners." 5 So undoubtedly We shall question those to whom Our Noble Messengers went, and indeed We shall question the Noble Messengers. 6 Then We shall narrate to them with knowledge the whole account. For surely, We were not away from them. 7 And the weighing on that day (Day of Resurrection) will be the true (weighing). So as for those whose scale (of good deeds) will be heavy, they will be the successful (by entering Paradise). 8 but he whose scales are light those have lost their souls because they were harmful towards Our verses. 9 And We have certainly established you upon the earth and made for you therein ways of livelihood. Little are you grateful. 10

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
