We had certainly sent Noah to his people, and he said, "O my people, worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him. Indeed, I fear for you the punishment of a tremendous Day. 59 The leaders of his people said: "Verily, we see you in plain error." 60 'I am not in error, my nation' he replied. 'I am a Messenger from the Lord of the Worlds 61 I am conveying my Lord's messages to you and giving you sincere advice. I know things from God that you do not. 62 Do you wonder that a Remembrance should come to you from your Lord to a man from yourselves in order that he may warn you and that you may be cautious so that mercy comes upon you' 63 But they denied him, so We saved him and those with him in the Ark, and We drowned those who rejected Our signs. They were indeed a blind people. 64
