Believers, fight the unbelievers near you for the cause of God so that they realize your strength and know that God is with the pious ones. 123 And whenever a surah is revealed, there are among the hypocrites those who say, "Which of you has this increased faith?" As for those who believed, it has increased them in faith, while they are rejoicing. 124 And as for those in whose hearts is a disease, it adds uncleanness to their uncleanness and they die while they are unbelievers. 125 See they not that they are tested once or twice in every year? Still they turn not in repentance, neither pay they heed. 126 Whenever a Surah is revealed they look at each other (so as to ask): "Is anyone looking at Us?" and then turn away. Indeed God has turned their hearts away (from the truth), for they cannot discern the law of heaven. 127 There hath come unto you a messenger, (one) of yourselves, unto whom aught that ye are overburdened is grievous, full of concern for you, for the believers full of pity, merciful. 128 But if they turn away, [O Muhammad], say, "Sufficient for me is Allah; there is no deity except Him. On Him I have relied, and He is the Lord of the Great Throne." 129
