And We verily did allot unto the Children of Israel a fixed abode, and did provide them with good things; and they differed not until the knowledge came unto them. Lo! thy Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that wherein they used to differ. 93 And if you, O listener, have any doubt in what We have sent down towards you, then question those who have read the Book before you; undoubtedly, towards you has come the truth from your Lord, therefore do not be of those who doubt. 94 and neither be among those who are bent on giving the lie to God's messages, lest thou find thyself among the lost. 95 Verily those against whom the word of your Lord is pronounced will never believe, 96 until they face the most painful torment. 97 Why did no one except the people of Jonah believe (in their punishment before their death) so that they could have benefitted from their faith? When the people of Jonah believed, We saved them from a disgraceful torment in this life and provided them with the means of enjoyment for an appointed time. 98 If your Lord had willed, all the people on the earth would have come to believe, one and all. 99 And no soul can accept faith except by the command of Allah; and He sets the punishment upon those who do not have sense. 100 Proclaim, “Observe what is in the heavens and the earth”; and the signs and the Noble Messengers do not benefit the people who are not destined to believe. 101 What do they wait for then but the like of the days of those who passed away before them? Say: Wait then; surely I too am with you of those who wait. 102 Then we shall save Our Messengers and the believers. It is Our obligated duty, We shall save those who believe. 103
