۞ Is he then who knows that what has been revealed to you from your Lord is the truth like him who is blind? Only those possessed of understanding will mind, 19 Those who fulfil the pact of Allah, and do not renege on the covenant. 20 Who keep together what God has ordained held together, and fear their Lord and dread the hardship of the Reckoning, 21 Patient men, desiring the Face of their Lord, establish their prayers, and spend of what We have given them in private and in public; and who ward off evil with good. Theirs shall be the Ultimate Abode. 22 They shall enter the Gardens of Eden together with the righteous among their fathers, their wives, and their descendants. From every gate the angels will come to them, 23 "Peace be upon you, because you have persevered!" How excellent, then, this fulfilment in the hereafter! 24 And those who break the Covenant of Allah, after its ratification, and sever that which Allah has commanded to be joined (i.e. they sever the bond of kinship and are not good to their relatives), and work mischief in the land, on them is the curse (i.e. they will be far away from Allah's Mercy); And for them is the unhappy (evil) home (i.e. Hell). 25 Allah doth enlarge, or grant by (strict) measure, the sustenance (which He giveth) to whomso He pleaseth. (The wordly) rejoice in the life of this world: But the life of this world is but little comfort in the Hereafter. 26
