AND, INDEED, We have set up in the heavens great constellations, and endowed them with beauty for all to behold; 16 And We have guarded it from every outcast devil, 17 Save him who stealeth the hearing, and him there followeth a flame gleaming. 18 And the earth -- We stretched it forth, and cast on it firm mountains, and We caused to grow therein of every thing justly weighed, 19 and provided thereon means of livelihood for you [O men] as well as for all [living beings] whose sustenance does not depend on you. 20 With Us is the source of everything and We do not send it down except in a known quantity. 21 And We have sent the fertilizing winds and sent down water from the sky and given you drink from it. And you are not its retainers. 22 Lo! and it is We, even We, Who quicken and give death, and We are the Inheritor. 23 To Us are known those of you who hasten forward, and those who lag behind. 24 And verily, your Lord will gather them together. Truly, He is All-Wise, All-Knowing. 25
