Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

It is We Who have set out the zodiacal signs in the heavens, and made them fair-seeming to (all) beholders; 16 and We have made them secure against every satanic force accursed 17 so that anyone who seeks to learn [the unknowable] by stealth is pursued by a flame clear to see. 18 We have spread out the earth and set upon it firm mountains. Everything We have caused to grow therein is justly weighed; 19 And created livelihoods for you in it, and created those for whom you do not provide the sustenance. 20 And there is not a thing but with Us are the treasures of it, and We do not send it down but in a known measure. 21 We send impregnating winds and send down water from the sky for you to drink and you have no (control over its) storage. 22 It is indeed We Who grant life and cause death and it is We who shall be the sole Inheritors of all. 23 Surely We know those of you who have passed before and those who will come later. 24 Lo! thy Lord will gather them together. Lo! He is Wise, Aware. 25
