"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). 45 and they will be told to enter there in peace and safety. 46 And We shall purge their breasts of all traces of rancour; and they shall be seated on couches facing one another as brothers. 47 Neither any hardship is to reach them in it, nor are they to be expelled from it. 48 ۞ [O Muhammad], inform My servants that it is I who am the Forgiving, the Merciful. 49 And that My Torment is indeed the most painful torment. 50 Tell them of Abraham's guests. 51 They entered to him and said: 'Peace' but he replied: 'We are afraid of you' 52 They (the angels) said: "Do not be afraid! We give you glad tidings of a boy (son) possessing much knowledge and wisdom." 53 He said: 'What is this, do you bring me glad tidings even though I am old' Of what do you give me glad tidings' 54 give me good tidings?' They said, 'We give thee good tidings of truth. Be not of those that despair.' 55 He said, "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord except for those astray?" 56 [Abraham] said, "Then what is your business [here], O messengers?" 57 They said: "Verily we have been sent to a guilty people 58 "Except the family of Lot whom we shall save 59 except his wife (about whom Allah says that) We have decreed that she shall be among those who stay behind." 60
