And those who after they have been wronged emigrated for the Cause of Allah, We will lodge them with a good (life) in this world, but greater still is the wage of the Everlasting Life, if they but knew; 41 [They are] those who endured patiently and upon their Lord relied. 42 We sent not any before thee, except men to whom We revealed: 'Question the people of the Remembrance, if it should be that you do not know -- 43 [We sent them] with clear signs and scriptures. We have sent down the Reminder to you, to enable you to make clear to mankind what has been sent down to them, so that they may reflect upon it. 44 Do they feel secure, those who devise evil things, that God will not cause the earth to swallow them, or that the chastisement will not come upon them, from whence they are not aware? 45 Or that He may catch them in the midst of their going to and fro (in their jobs), so that there be no escape for them (from Allah's Punishment)? 46 Or, that He will not seize them, a little at a time and destroy them? Indeed, your Lord is Clement, the Most Merciful. 47 Do they not see how every thing Allah created casts its shadow right and left, prostrating itself before Allah in all humility? 48 All things that move on the earth and in the heavens, and the angels, bow in homage to God, and do not behave with pride. 49 They all revere their Lord, high above them, and they do all that they are commanded. ۩ 50
