The Human (Al-Insan)
31 verses, revealed in Medina after The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman) before Divorce (Al-Talaaq)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Has there not been over man a period of time, when he was nothing to be mentioned? 1 We created the human being from the union of sperm and egg to test him. We gave him hearing and vision. 2 We surely showed him the way that he may either be grateful or deny. 3 Indeed, We have prepared for the disbelievers chains and shackles and a blaze. 4 Indeed, the righteous will drink from a cup [of wine] whose mixture is of Kafur, 5 The Kafoor is a spring, from which the chosen bondmen of Allah will drink, causing it to flow wherever they wish inside their palaces. 6 They [are those who] fulfill [their] vows and fear a Day whose evil will be widespread. 7 And they feed, for the love of Allah, the indigent, the orphan, and the captive,- 8 (saying): “We feed you only for Allah's sake; we do not seek of you any recompense or thanks, 9 for we fear from our Lord a frowning day, inauspicious. 10 So Allah shall guard them against the woe of that Day, and will procure them freshness and joy, 11 and recompensed them for their patience with a Garden, and silk; 12 Reclining upon couches, they will find therein neither the heat of the sun nor bitter, biting cold, 13 The shades of the garden will be closely spread over them and it will be easy for them to reach the fruits. 14 They will be served with silver dishes and crystal clear goblets. 15 crystal-like, [but] of silver - the measure whereof they alone will determine. 16 And they will be given to drink a cup [of wine] whose mixture is of ginger 17 Which is a spring in Paradise called Salsabeel. 18 ۞ They will be served by immortal youths who look like scattered pearls. 19 Whitherto you look around, you will see an abundance of bliss and the glories of a great kingdom. 20 They will have fine green silk and brocade, and they will be decked with bracelets of silver. Their Lord will provide them with a drink of pure wine. 21 This will be their reward and their efforts will be appreciated. 22

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
