Al-nahl 7 of 16
۞ And Allah has proclaimed, “Do not ascribe two Gods; indeed He is the only One God; therefore fear Me alone.” 51 And His is all that is in the heavens and on earth, and to Him [alone] obedience is always due: will you, then, pay reverence to aught but Him? 52 Whatever bounties you have are from God. When hardship befalls you, you begin to cry out to Him. 53 When He saves you from the hardship, some of you start to believe in idols. 54 that they may show unthankfulness for that We have given them. So take your joy; certainly you will soon know! 55 And they set apart for what they do not know a portion of what We have given them. By Allah, you shall most certainly be questioned about that which you forged. 56 And they attribute to Allah daughters - exalted is He - and for them is what they desire. 57 When good news of the birth of a female is given to any of them, his face grows dark and inwardly he chokes. 58 They try to hide themselves from the people because of the disgrace of such news. Will they keep their new born despite the disgrace or bury it alive? How sinful is their Judgment! 59 Those who do not believe in the Hereafter deserve to be characterized with evil attributes whereas Allah's are the most excellent attributes. He is the Most Mighty, the Most Wise. 60

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
