When We substitute one revelation for another,- and Allah knows best what He reveals (in stages),- they say, "Thou art but a forger": but most of them understand not. 101 Say, the Holy Spirit has brought the revelation from thy Lord in Truth, in order to strengthen those who believe, and as a Guide and Glad Tidings to Muslims. 102 And certainly We know that they say: Only a mortal teaches him. The tongue of him whom they reproach is barbarous, and this is clear Arabic tongue. 103 Indeed, those who do not believe in the verses of Allah - Allah will not guide them, and for them is a painful punishment. 104 Only those fabricate lies concerning God who do not believe in the signs of God, and these are the liars. 105 As for one who denies God after he has believed, with the exception of one who is forced to do it, while his heart rests securely in faith, but one who opens his heart to a denial of truth shall incur the wrath of God; such as these will have a terrible punishment. 106 That is because they preferred the worldly life over the Hereafter and that Allah does not guide the disbelieving people. 107 They are the ones upon whose hearts and hearing and eyes Allah has set a seal. They are utterly steeped in heedlessness. 108 In the Everlasting Life, they shall assuredly be the losers. 109 ۞ But verily thy Lord,- to those who leave their homes after trials and persecutions,- and who thereafter strive and fight for the faith and patiently persevere,- Thy Lord, after all this is oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. 110
