Al-Isra 8 of 12

On the day when We shall summon all men with their record, whoso is given his book in his right hand - such will read their book and they will not be wronged a shred. 71 And whoever is blind in this, he shall (also) be blind in the hereafter; and more erring from the way. 72 And indeed, they were about to tempt you away from that which We revealed to you in order to [make] you invent about Us something else; and then they would have taken you as a friend. 73 Had We not strengthened your faith you might have relied on them some how. 74 And if it were*, We would then have made you taste a double life and a double death – you would then not find any supporter against Us. (* Which is impossible.) 75 And indeed it was close that they frighten you in the land for them to oust you from it – and if it were, they would not have stayed after you, but a little. 76 This has been Our Way with the Messengers whom We sent before you. You will find no change in Our Way. 77
