Al-Isra 9 of 12
Perform the prayer at the sinking of the sun to the darkening of the night and the recital of dawn; surely the recital of dawn is witnessed. 78 And as for the night, keep vigil a part of it, as a work of supererogation for thee; it may be that thy Lord will raise thee up to a laudable station. 79 Say: "O my Lord! Let my entry be by the Gate of Truth and Honour, and likewise my exit by the Gate of Truth and Honour; and grant me from Thy Presence an authority to aid (me)." 80 And say: "Truth has come and falsehood nullified." Verily falsehood is perishable. 81 We reveal the Quran which is a cure and mercy for the believers but does nothing for the unjust except to lead them to perdition. 82 And when We bestow favor on man, he turns aside and behaves proudly, and when evil afflicts him, he is despairing. 83 Say, "Each works according to his manner, but your Lord is most knowing of who is best guided in way." 84
