And We had certainly given Moses nine evident signs, so ask the Children of Israel [about] when he came to them and Pharaoh said to him, "Indeed I think, O Moses, that you are affected by magic." 101 Moses replied: "You know well that no one but the Lord of the heavens and the earth has sent these as eye-opening proofs. I truly think, O Pharaoh, that you are indeed doomed." 102 Then he besought to unsettle them from the land; wherefore We drowned him and those with him, all together. 103 And We said to the Children of Israel after him, 'Dwell in the land; and when the promise of the world to come comes to pass, We shall bring you a rabble.' 104 With the truth We have sent it down, and with the truth it has come down; and We have sent thee not, except good tidings to bear, and warning; 105 And (it is) a Quran which We have divided (into parts), in order that you might recite it to men at intervals. And We have revealed it by stages. (in 23 years). 106 Say: "Believe in it or do not believe: Those who were given knowledge before it bow in adoration when it is read out to them, 107 and say: "Glory be to our Lord. Surely the promise of our Lord was bound to be fulfilled." 108 And so they fall down upon their faces, weeping, and [their consciousness of God's grace] increases their humility. ۩ 109 Say: "Call Him Allah or call Him Ar-Rahman; whatever the name you call Him by, all His names are beautiful." Do not say your prayers too loudly or in too low a voice, but follow a middle coarse. 110 And say: "All praise be to Allah Who has neither taken to Himself a son, nor has He any partner in His kingdom, nor does He need anyone, out of weakness, to protect Him." So glorify Him in a manner worthy of His glory. 111
