Al-Kahf 7 of 12

And recall what time we said unto the angels: prostrate yourselves before Adam, and they prostrated themselves, but Iblis did not; he was of the genii; so he trespassed the commandment of his Lord. Would ye then take him and his progeny as patrons instead of Me, whereas they are unto you an enemy? Ill is for the wrong-doers an exchange! 50 ۞ I did not make them witness to the creation of the heavens and the earth or to the creation of themselves, and I would not have taken the misguiders as assistants. 51 The day He will say: "Call those you had called My compeers," they will call them, but will get no response, and We shall place a gulf between them. 52 And the Sinful shall see the fire and apprehend that they have to fall therein: no means will they find to turn away therefrom. 53
