(And recount to them the story of Moses) when Moses said to his servant: "I will journey on until I reach the point where the two rivers meet, though I may march on for ages." 60 But when they reached the Junction, they forgot (about) their Fish, which took its course through the sea (straight) as in a tunnel. 61 After they had passed the place, Moses said to his young companion, "Bring us our morning meal; we have indeed been fatigued by this journey." 62 Said [the servant]: "Wouldst thou believe it? When we betook ourselves to that rock for a rest, behold, I forgot about the fish - and none but Satan made me thus forget it - and it took its way into the sea! How strange!" 63 He said: This is what we sought for; so they returned retracing their footsteps. 64 Then they found one of Our servants unto whom We had given mercy from Us, and We had taught him knowledge proceeding from Us. 65 Moses said to him, "May I follow you on [the condition] that you teach me from what you have been taught of sound judgement?" 66 (The other) said: "Verily thou wilt not be able to have patience with me!" 67 How canst thou bear with that whereof thou canst not compass any knowledge? 68 He said: Allah willing, thou shalt find me patient and I shall not in aught gainsay thee. 69 He said: then if thou wilt follow me ask me not of anything until I begin thereof some mention. 70
