And mention Musa in the Book; surely he was one purified, and he was an apostle, a prophet. 51 We called him from the right side of Mount Sinai and drew him close for communication. 52 Out of Our mercy We gave him his brother Aaron who himself was a Prophet. 53 And mention thou in the Book lsma'il; verily he was true in promise, and was apostle, prophet. 54 And he was wont to command his household to the prayer and the poor-rate, and he was with his Lord an approved one. 55 Mention in the Book (the Quran) the story of Idris (Enoch); he was a truthful Prophet. 56 And We raised him to high station. 57 It is these upon whom Allah has bestowed favour among the Prophets, from the descendants of Adam; and from those whom We boarded along with Nooh; and from the descendants of Ibrahim and Israel; and from those whom We guided and chose; when the verses of the Most Gracious were recited to them, they fell down, prostrating and weeping. (* Command of Prostration # 5.) ۩ 58 ۞ They were succeeded by a generation who neglected their prayers and followed their worldly desires. They will certainly be lost, 59 Excepted, however, shall be those who repent and attain to faith and do righteous deeds: for it is they who will enter paradise and will not be wronged in any way: 60 Gardens of Eden that the All-merciful promised His servants in the Unseen; His promise is ever performed. 61 They shall not hear therein any vain word, but they shall hear only peace; and therein they shall have their provision morning and evening. 62 That is the Paradise which We shall give the cautious worshipers to inherit. 63 [Gabriel said], "And we [angels] descend not except by the order of your Lord. To Him belongs that before us and that behind us and what is in between. And never is your Lord forgetful - 64 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them - so worship Him and have patience for His worship. Do you know of any similarity to Him?" 65
