Do you not see that We have sent the devils upon the disbelievers, inciting them to [evil] with [constant] incitement? 83 So, do not be hasty with them. We are counting their number (of days). 84 On the Day when We shall gather the Godconscious unto [Us,] the Most Gracious, as honoured guests, 85 and We shall drive the sinful like a thirsty herd into Hell. 86 No one will have power to intercede, except for those who have permission from the Lord of Mercy. 87 And they say, "The Most Merciful has taken [for Himself] a son." 88 You have indeed advanced something hideous! 89 Whereby the heavens are almost torn, and the earth is split asunder, and the mountains fall in ruins, 90 That they should ascribe unto the Compassionate a son. 91 It does not befit the Most Compassionate Lord that He should take a son. 92 There is none in the heavens and earth except he comes to the Merciful as a worshiper. 93 Certainly He has a comprehensive knowledge of them and He has numbered them a (comprehensive) numbering. 94 And each one of them will come unto Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 Indeed those who believed and did good deeds – the Most Gracious will appoint love for them. (In the hearts of other believers.) 96 So have We made the (Qur'an) easy in thine own tongue, that with it thou mayest give Glad Tidings to the righteous, and warnings to people given to contention. 97 How many generations We have destroyed before them! Can you find a single one of them alive now, or hear so much as a whisper from them? 98
