See you not that We have sent the Shayatin (devils) against the disbelievers to push them to do evil. 83 Therefore be not in haste against them, We only number out to them a number (of days). 84 and on the Day when We will ceremonially gather the righteous to the Merciful, 85 And will drive the criminals to Hell in thirst 86 People do not own the right to intercede, except those* who have made a covenant with the Most Gracious. (* The Holy Prophets and virtuous people will be given the permission to intercede. Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – will be the first to intercede.) 87 And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]." 88 You have done an atrocious thing. 89 Thereby the heavens are nearly torn and the earth split asunder, and mountains fall crashing down 90 That they ascribe a son to the Beneficent Allah. 91 When it does not behove the Merciful to have a son. 92 None is there in the heavens and earth but he comes to the All-merciful as a servant; 93 He has counted and enumerated them one by one. 94 Every one of them will come before Him all alone on the Day of Resurrection. 95 Verily those who believe and do righteous works - anon the Compassionate shall appoint for them affection. 96 So We have made this (the Quran) easy in your own tongue (O Muhammad SAW), only that you may give glad tidings to the Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - See V. 2:2), and warn with it the Ludda (most quarrelsome) people. 97 And how many have We destroyed before them of generations? Do you perceive of them anyone or hear from them a sound? 98
