Seest thou not that We have set the Evil Ones on against the unbelievers, to incite them with fury? 83 Therefore, do not hasten (things) against them, for We count out to them a number, 84 The Day shall soon come when We shall bring together the God-fearing to the Most Compassionate Lord, as honoured guests; 85 And We shall drive the sinners to Hell, like thirsty cattle driven down to water,- 86 having no power of intercession, save those who have taken with the All-merciful covenant. 87 They say, "The Gracious One has begotten a son." 88 Surely you have made a monstrous statement. 89 The heavens are wellnigh rent of it and the earth split asunder, and the mountains wellnigh fall down crashing for 90 That they should ascribe unto the Compassionate a son. 91 When it is not meet for (the Majesty of) the Beneficent that He should choose a son. 92 All those who are in the heavens and the earth will come to the Most Gracious as His bondmen. 93 Verily He knoweth them and numbereth them with (right) numbering. 94 Everyone on the Day of Judgment will individually come into the presence of God. 95 VERILY, those who attain to faith and do righteous deeds will the Most Gracious endow with love: 96 and only to this end have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own tongue, [O Prophet,] so that thou might convey thereby a glad tiding to the God-conscious, and warn thereby those who are given to [futile] contention: 97 But how many (countless) generations before them have We destroyed? Canst thou find a single one of them (now) or hear (so much as) a whisper of them? 98
