Do you not see that We have appointed devils to incite those who deny the truth to disobedience? 83 Therefore, do not hasten (things) against them, for We count out to them a number, 84 On the Day of Judgment, when the pious people will be brought into the presence of the Beneficent God as the guests of honor 85 And drive the guilty unto hell, a weary herd, 86 who have no power of intercession, except those who have taken a covenant with the Merciful. 87 And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]." 88 Assuredly ye have brought a thing monstrous. 89 The heavens almost rupture therefrom and the earth splits open and the mountains collapse in devastation 90 For they have attributed a son to Ar-Rahman, 91 The Beneficent God is too Exalted to have a son. 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but he shall come to the Most Compassionate Lord as His servant. 93 Assuredly He hath comprehended them and counted them a full counting. 94 And each one of them will come unto Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 Verily, those who believe [in the Oneness of Allah and in His Messenger (Muhammad SAW)] and work deeds of righteousness, the Most Beneficent (Allah) will bestow love for them (in the hearts of the believers). 96 So We have only made it easy in your tongue that you may give good news thereby to those who guard (against evil) and warn thereby a vehemently contentious people. 97 How numerous are the peoples that We destroyed before them! Do you now perceive any one of them, or hear even their whisper? 98
