Seest thou not that We have set the Evil Ones on against the unbelievers, to incite them with fury? 83 So take no hasty action against them; their days are numbered. 84 On the Day of Judgment, when the pious people will be brought into the presence of the Beneficent God as the guests of honor 85 and We shall drive the sinful like a thirsty herd into Hell. 86 None shall have the power of intercession, but such a one as has received permission (or promise) from the Most Beneficent (Allah). 87 And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]." 88 You have indeed brought an extremely grave speech! 89 The heavens may almost be rent thereat, and the earth cleave asunder, and the mountains fall down in pieces, 90 That they ascribe a son to the Beneficent Allah. 91 The Beneficent God is too Exalted to have a son. 92 None is there in the heavens and earth but he comes to the All-merciful as a servant; 93 He does take an account of them (all), and hath numbered them (all) exactly. 94 And all of them are coming to Him on the Day of Resurrection alone. 95 The Lord of Mercy will bestow affection upon those who believe and perform righteous deeds. 96 So We have made it easy in thine tongue in order that thou mayest thereby give glad tidings unto the Godfearing and warn thereby a people contentious. 97 And how many a generation before them have We destroyed! Canst thou (Muhammad) see a single man of them, or hear from them the slightest sound? 98
