Moses said, "My Lord! open up my heart, 25 And ease for me my affair. 26 Unloose the knot upon my tongue, 27 so that they may understand me. 28 “And appoint for me a viceroy from among my family.” 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 "Add to my strength through him, 31 "And make him share my task: 32 so that we may glorify You much 33 "And remember You much, 34 You are surely watching over us. 35 He said: surely thou art granted thy petition, O Musa! 36 We have again bestowed Our favour upon you. 37 When We told your mother what We relate: 38 'Put the baby into a chest and then throw him in the river. The river will throw him up on the shore, and then an enemy of Mine and an enemy of his will take him.' And I spread My love over you in order that you might be reared in My sight. 39 Your sister went (to them) and said: 'Shall I guide you to one who will nurse him' And so We restored you to your mother, so that her eyes might rejoice and that she might not sorrow. And when you killed a soul We saved you from grief and then We tried you with many trials. You stayed among the people of Midian for a number of years, and then, Moses, you came here according to a decree. 40 "And I have prepared thee for Myself (for service)".. 41 "Go you and your brother with My Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), and do not, you both, slacken and become weak in My Remembrance. 42 Go both to Firon, surely he has become inordinate; 43 yet speak gently to him, that haply he may be mindful, or perchance fear.' 44 They (Moses and Aaron) said: "Our Lord! We fear lest he hasten with insolence against us, or lest he transgress all bounds." 45 He replied: 'Have no fear I shall be with you, both hearing and seeing. 46 So go you both to Pharaoh, and say, "We are the Messengers of thy Lord, so send forth with us the Children of Israel and chastise them not; we have brought thee a sign from thy Lord; and peace be upon him who follows the guidance! 47 It has been revealed to us that punishment will befall him who denies and turns away. 48 (Firon) said: And who is your Lord, O Musa? 49 He said: "Our Lord is He Who gave everything its form and then guided it." 50 He said: Then what is the state of the former generations? 51 He (Moses) answered: 'The knowledge of them is in a Book with My Lord. My Lord neither goes astray, nor forgets. 52 It is He who made the earth a bed for you, and traced for you paths upon it, and sends down water from the sky, and brings out through it every kind of vegetation 53 Eat, and graze your cattle; indeed in this are signs for people of intellect. 54
