Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Mankind! fear your Lord; verily the quake of the Hour shall be a thing mighty. 1 On the day when you will witness it, every nursing mother will forget her nurseling and every pregnant one will discharge her burden, and you (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) will see people as if they are drunk, whereas they will not be intoxicated, but the fact is that Allah’s punishment is very severe. 2 And of mankind is he who disputeth respecting Allah without knowledge, and followeth any satan froward. 3 About the (Evil One) it is decreed that whoever turns to him for friendship, him will he lead astray, and he will guide him to the Penalty of the Fire. 4 O people! if you are in doubt about the raising, then surely We created you from dust, then from a small seed, then from a clot, then from a lump of flesh, complete in make and incomplete, that We may make clear to you; and We cause what We please to stay in the wombs till an appointed time, then We bring you forth as babies, then that you may attain your maturity; and of you is he who is caused to die, and of you is he who is brought back to the worst part of life, so that after having knowledge he does not know anything; and you see the earth sterile land, but when We send down on it the water, it stirs and swells and brings forth of every kind a beautiful herbage. 5 This is because Allah only is True and because He will revive the dead, and because He is Able to do all things. 6 The Hour will come without a doubt, and God will raise those who are dead. 7 Yet there are some who contend about God without any knowledge or guidance or enlightening Book, 8 Bending his neck in pride (far astray from the Path of Allah), and leading (others) too (far) astray from the Path of Allah. For him there is disgrace in this worldly life, and on the Day of Resurrection We shall make him taste the torment of burning (Fire). 9 “This is the recompense of what your hands have sent ahead, and Allah does not oppress His bondmen." 10
