The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Successful indeed are the believers, 1 who are humble in their prayers; 2 who avoid whatever is vain and frivolous; 3 And those who for the sake of purification are doers. 4 and who are mindful of their chastity, 5 save from their wives, or those whom their right hands possess; for with regard to them they are free from blame " 6 But those who covet more than this will be transgressors; 7 Those who are faithfully true to their Amanat (all the duties which Allah has ordained, honesty, moral responsibility and trusts etc.) and to their covenants; 8 and those who attend to their prayers; 9 These will be the heirs, 10 that will inherit the paradise; [and] therein shall they abide. 11 We created man out of the extract of clay, 12 then We made him into a drop of life-germ, then We placed it in a safe depository, 13 Then We created of the drop, a clot (of congealed blood) and We created the clot into bitesize tissue, then We created the bitesize tissue into bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh, and then produced it an other creation. Blessed is Allah, the Best of creators! 14 Thereafter you will certainly die 15 then on the Day of Resurrection you shall surely be raised up. 16 We have indeed fashioned above you seven paths. Never were We unaware of the task of creation. 17 We send down water from the sky in determined measure, and store it up in the earth; and We have power to drain it away. 18 And We brought forth for you thereby gardens of palm trees and grapevines in which for you are abundant fruits and from which you eat. 19 Also a tree springing out of Mount Sinai, which produces oil, and relish for those who use it for food. 20 And indeed there is also a lesson for you in cattle. We provide you with drink out of what they have in their bellies; and you have many other benefits in them: you eat of them, 21 And on them and on the ship ye are carried. 22
