The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Prosperous are the believers, 1 who are humble in their prayers; 2 And those who from everything vain turn away. 3 who give charity, 4 who strictly guard their private parts 5 save from their wives, or those whom their right hands possess; for with regard to them they are free from blame " 6 So whoever desires more than these two – they are crossing the limits. 7 those who are faithful to their trusts and promises; 8 And who (strictly) guard their prayers;- 9 These are indeed the inheritors. 10 who shall inherit Paradise therein dwelling forever. 11 We created man out of the extract of clay, 12 then We made him, a drop, in a secure receptacle (the womb). 13 Then We made the Nutfah into a clot (a piece of thick coagulated blood), then We made the clot into a little lump of flesh, then We made out of that little lump of flesh bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh, and then We brought it forth as another creation. So blessed be Allah, the Best of creators. 14 Then after that, certainly all of you are to die. 15 Again, on the Day of Judgment, will ye be raised up. 16 And assuredly We created above you seven paths, and of the creation We have not been neglectful. 17 And We send down water from the skies in accordance with a measure [set by Us,] and then We cause it to lodge in the earth: but, behold, We are most certainly able to withdraw this [blessing]! 18 And We brought forth for you thereby gardens of palm trees and grapevines in which for you are abundant fruits and from which you eat. 19 And We also produced the tree which springs forth from Mount Sinai, containing oil and sauce for those that eat. 20 And indeed, for you in livestock is a lesson. We give you drink from that which is in their bellies, and for you in them are numerous benefits, and from them you eat. 21 And you are carried on them and on the ship. 22
