The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ THE TRUE BELIEVERS will be successful, 1 Those who offer their Salat (prayers) with all solemnity and full submissiveness. 2 who avoid whatever is vain and frivolous; 3 those who pay the zakat; 4 those who safeguard their chastity 5 Except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, for then, they are free from blame; 6 And whosoever seeketh beyond that, then it is these who are the transgressors 7 who are true to their trusts and their covenants, 8 And those who are watchful of their acts of prayer. 9 Such are the inheritors 10 Those who will get the inheritance of Paradise; they will abide in it forever. 11 We have created the human being from an extract of clay 12 which was then turned into a living germ and placed in safe depository. 13 then We created of the drop a clot then We created of the clot a tissue then We created of the tissue bones then We garmented the bones in flesh; thereafter We produced him as another creature. So blessed be God, the fairest of creators! 14 Then indeed, after that you are to die. 15 Then will be raised up on the Day of Resurrection. 16 And certainly We made above you seven heavens; and never are We heedless of creation. 17 And We sent down out of heaven water in measure and lodged it in the earth; and We are able to take it away. 18 We grow orchards of dates and grapes from it for you, Which yield fruits in abundance that you eat. 19 And We also produced the tree which springs forth from Mount Sinai, containing oil and sauce for those that eat. 20 There are lessons for you in the cattle from whose bellies We give you milk to drink, and there are other advantages that you derive from them, and some of them you eat; 21 And on them and on the ship ye are borne. 22
