[O MEN! Pay heed to God's messages,] for it is He who has endowed you with hearing, and sight, and minds: [yet] how seldom are you grateful! 78 It was He who scattered you on the earth, and before Him you shall be gathered. 79 And it is He Who gives life and causes death, and His is the alternation of night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 Nay, but they say the like of what the men of old said. 81 "When we have died and become dust and bones, will we be raised up again? 82 We were already promised this, we and our forefathers. Lo! this is naught but fables of the men of old. 83 Say O dear Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “To Whom does the earth and all that is in it belong to, if you know?” 84 They will surely say: God's. Say thou: will ye not then heed? 85 Say: 'Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Lord of the mighty Throne?' 86 They will say, "[They belong] to Allah." Say, "Then will you not fear Him?" 87 Say: Who is it in Whose hand is the kingdom of all things and Who gives succor, but against Him Succor is not given, if you do but know? 88 They will reply spontaneously, "It is God." Ask them, "Why has falsehood bewitched you?" 89 Nay, but We have brought them the Truth, and lo! they are liars. 90 God has never given birth to a son and there is no other god besides Him. If there were, each god would have taken away his creatures and claimed superiority over the others. God is too exalted to be as they believe Him to be. 91 The knower of the absent and the present, too exalted is He for what they associate (with Him)! 92
