[O MEN! Pay heed to God's messages,] for it is He who has endowed you with hearing, and sight, and minds: [yet] how seldom are you grateful! 78 And it is He who has multiplied you throughout the earth, and to Him you will be gathered. 79 And it is He who gives life and causes death, and His is the alternation of the night and the day. Then will you not reason? 80 But they say the same as the ancients said, 81 They say, "When we die and become dust and bones, shall we then be raised up again? 82 We were already promised this, we and our forefathers. Lo! this is naught but fables of the men of old. 83 Say: "To whom does the earth and whosoever is upon it then belong, if you know?" 84 They will surely say: God's. Say thou: will ye not then heed? 85 Say: "Who is (the) Lord of the seven heavens, and (the) Lord of the Great Throne?" 86 [And] they will reply: "[All this power belongs] to God." Say: "Will you not, then, remain conscious of Him?" 87 Say: "In whose hand rests the mighty dominion over all things, and who is it that protects, the while there is no protection against Him? [Tell me this] if you happen to know [the answer]!" 88 They will surely say: "(The dominion over all things) belongs to Allah." Say: "Whence are you then deluded?" 89 In fact We have sent the truth to them, but they are liars. 90 God has never given birth to a son and there is no other god besides Him. If there were, each god would have taken away his creatures and claimed superiority over the others. God is too exalted to be as they believe Him to be. 91 [He is] Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, so high is He above what they associate [with Him]. 92
