Al-Mu' minoon 5 of 6
It is God who has created ears, eyes, and hearts for you. Little are the thanks that you give. 78 And He it is who has caused you to multiply on earth; and unto Him you shall be gathered. 79 He is the One who gives life and causes death and He controls the alternation of night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 But nay, they speak as the people of olden times did speak: 81 They say, "When we die and become dust and bones, shall we then be raised up again? 82 We were promised such things and so were our forefathers before us. All these are no more than tales of the past." 83 Say O dear Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “To Whom does the earth and all that is in it belong to, if you know?” 84 They will say: 'To Allah' Say: 'Then will you not remember' 85 Ask them: "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, the Lord of the Great Throne?" 86 They will say, "They belong to God." Say, "So do you not fear Him?" 87 Say, “In Whose hand is the control over all things, and He provides refuge, and none can provide refuge against Him, if you know?” 88 They will say: (This is) Allah's. Say: From whence are you then deceived? 89 Nay, We have conveyed unto them the truth: and yet, behold, they are intent on lying [to themselves]! 90 Allah hath not betaken to Himself any son, and there is not along Him any god; else each god would have gone off with that which he had created, and one of them would have exalted himself above the others. Hallowed be Allah above that which they ascribe! 91 Knower of the Invisible and the Visible! and Exalted be He over all that they ascribe as partners (unto Him)! 92

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
