Say: My Lord! If Thou shouldst show me that which they are promised. 93 "My Lord! Then (save me from Your Punishment), and put me not amongst the people who are the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doing)." 94 And indeed, We are able to show you what We have promised them. 95 [But whatever they may say or do,] repel the evil [which they commit] with something that is better: We are fully aware of what they attribute [to Us]. 96 And say: My Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from suggestions of the evil ones, 97 "And I seek refuge with Thee O my Lord! lest they should come near me." 98 Till, when death comes to one of them, he says, 'My Lord, return me; 99 That I may do right in that which I have left behind! But nay! It is but a word that he speaketh; and behind them is a barrier until the day when they are raised. 100 And when the Horn is blown, on that Day their ties of kindred shall be no more, nor will they ask each other. 101 It will be an Hour when those whose scales are heavy, they alone will attain success; 102 And those whose scales (of good deeds) are light, they are those who lose their ownselves, in Hell will they abide. 103 The Fire will sear their faces, and they therein will have taut smiles. 104 "Are you not those to whom My revelations were recited, and you dubbed them as lies?" 105 They shall say, 'Our Lord, our adversity prevailed over us; we were an erring people. 106 Lord, take us out of this and if we sin again, we shall certainly be unjust". 107 He shall say: Go away into it and speak not to Me; 108 You are those that when a party of My servants said: 'Our Lord, we believe, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of those that are merciful,' 109 But you took them for a mockery until they made you forget My remembrance and you used to laugh at them. 110 On this day I have given them their reward for their exercising patience and it is they who have triumphed." 111 They will be asked: "How long did you live on the earth in terms of years?" 112 They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep account." 113 He will say: Ye tarried but a little if ye only knew. 114 So do you think that We have created you needlessly, and that you do not have to return to Us? 115 High Exalted be Allah, the King, the Truth. There is no god except He, the Lord of the Noble Throne. 116 Whosoever calls upon another god, other than Allah, having no proof his reckoning will be with his Lord. The unbelievers shall never prosper. 117 Say: "My Lord, forgive and have mercy. You are the best of the merciful." 118
Almighty Allah's Truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
