Blessed be He who has set the constellations in the heaven, and set amongst them a sun, and an illuminating moon. 61 And He it is Who made the night and the day to follow each other for him who desires to be mindful or desires to be thankful. 62 And the slaves of the Most Beneficent (Allah) are those who walk on the earth in humility and sedateness, and when the foolish address them (with bad words) they reply back with mild words of gentleness. 63 And those who spend [part of] the night to their Lord prostrating and standing [in prayer] 64 Who say: "O our Lord, avert from us the torment of Hell: Its punishment is surely continuous. 65 it is an evil abode and an evil resting place": 66 And those who, when spending, neither exceed the limits nor act miserly, and stay in moderation between the two. 67 And those who invoke not any other ilah (god) along with Allah, nor kill such life as Allah has forbidden, except for just cause, nor commit illegal sexual intercourse and whoever does this shall receive the punishment. 68 The punishment shall be doubled to him on the day of resurrection, and he shall abide therein in abasement; 69 Except one who repents and accepts faith and does good deeds – so Allah will turn their evil deeds into virtues; and Allah is Oft Forgiving, Most Merciful. 70 And whoever repents and does good deeds – so he has inclined towards Allah with repentance as was required. 71 And those who do not give false evidence, and if they come across unbecoming talk ignore it and pass by in a sedate way; 72 who do not turn a blind eye and a deaf ear to the signs of their Lord when they are reminded of them; 73 who say, 'Our Lord, give us refreshment of our wives and seed, and make us a model to the godfearing.' 74 Those shall be recompensed with the highest heaven, for that they endured patiently, and they shall receive therein a greeting and --' Peace!' 75 Abiders therein: excellent it is as an abode and as a station. 76 Say (O Muhammad SAW to the disbelievers): "My Lord pays attention to you only because of your invocation to Him. But now you have indeed denied (Him). So the torment will be yours for ever (inseparable permanent punishment)." 77
