The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Ta Sin Mim 1 These are the verses of the illustrious Book. 2 It may be that thou tormentest thyself (O Muhammad) because they believe not. 3 If (such) were Our Will, We could send down to them from the sky a Sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. 4 A fresh remembrance has never come to them from the Merciful, except they turn away from it. 5 they have indeed rejected the message. But the truth of what they laughed to scorn will dawn upon them before long. 6 Have they not seen the earth, that how many honourable pairs We have created in it? 7 Most surely there is a sign in that, but most of them will not believe. 8 Your Lord is surely mighty and merciful. 9
