The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta'. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the perspicuous Book. 2 It may be that thou tormentest thyself (O Muhammad) because they believe not. 3 If We please, We should send down upon them a sign from the heaven so that their necks should stoop to it. 4 [But We have not willed it:] and so, whenever there comes unto them any fresh reminder from the Most Gracious, they [who are blind of heart] always - turn their backs upon it: 5 So, they belied, but surely the tidings of that they mocked will come to them. 6 Do they not see the earth, how many of every noble kind We have caused to grow in it? 7 In this there is, certainly, evidence (of the Truth). But most of them have no faith. 8 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 9
