The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta'. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the clear Book. 2 Perchance thou consumest thyself that they are not believers. 3 If We will, We can send down on them a sign from the sky so that their leaders would remain bowed before it. 4 And there cometh not unto them any fresh admonition from the Compassionate but they are wont to be therefrom backsliders. 5 So they have surely belied; wherefore anon there shall come unto them the truth of that whereat they were wont to mock. 6 Do they not see the earth, how many of every noble kind We have caused to grow in it? 7 Most surely there is a sign in that, but most of them will not believe. 8 Your Lord is the Majestic and the All-merciful. 9
