۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 (Saying): "These (Israelites) are but a small band, 54 they have enraged us, 55 and we are a host on our guard' 56 As such We expelled them from their gardens and their fountains, 57 And treasures and a station noble. 58 Even so. And We caused the Children of Isra'il to inherit them. 59 So the Firaun’s people followed them at sunrise. 60 And when the two hosts came in view of each other, Moses' companions said: 'We have been reached' 61 Said he, 'No indeed; surely my Lord is with me; He will guide me.' 62 Then We revealed to Moses: 'Strike the sea with your staff', so it divided and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 Then brought We near the others to that place. 64 We saved Moses and all the people with him 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 67 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
