۞ By inspiration we told Moses: "Travel by night with my servants; for surely ye shall be pursued." 52 And Pharaoh sent heralds unto all cities, 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 And indeed, they are enraging us, 55 And most surely we are a vigilant multitude. 56 and so we have [rightly] driven them out of [their] gardens and springs, 57 and their treasures and excellent dwellings. 58 So it was; and We made the Descendants of Israel its inheritors. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two groups saw each other, those with Moosa said, “They have caught us.” 61 Moses replied, "No, My Lord is with me, and He will guide me." 62 We commanded Moses: "Smite the sea with your staff." And it parted, and every parting was like a lofty mountain. 63 And We brought near, there, the others. 64 We saved Moses and all the people with him 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Verily! In this is indeed a sign (or a proof), yet most of them are not believers. 67 Your Lord is certainly Majestic and All-merciful. 68
