۞ And We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Journey along with My bondmen within the night, for you will be pursued.” 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 "These," they said, "are only a small band, 54 who have enraged us greatly. 55 But we are a fully accounted army." 56 We therefore got them out from the gardens and water springs. 57 And treasures and agreeable mansions. 58 This happened with them; (but on the other hand), We enabled the Children of Israel to inherit those bounties. 59 At sunrise they set off in pursuit of them 60 And when the two companies saw one another, the companions of Moses said, "Indeed, we are to be overtaken!" 61 [Musa (Moses)] said: "Nay, verily! With me is my Lord, He will guide me." 62 Then We bade Moses strike the sea with his staff. And it parted, and each part was like a huge mountain. 63 Then We brought near the others [Fir'aun's (Pharaoh) party] to that place. 64 We saved Moses and all the people with him 65 and drowned the other party. 66 Indeed in this is surely a sign, and most of them were not Muslims. 67 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 68
