۞ We said to Moses: "Travel by night with My creatures. You will surely be pursued." 52 And Pharaoh sent forth heralds to all the cities. 53 saying: "These (Israelites) are only a small band of people 54 and they have enraged us, 55 And lo! we are a ready host. 56 We deprived them (the unbelievers) of gardens, springs, 57 treasures, and graceful dwellings. 58 As such we gave it to the Children of Israel. 59 The people of the Pharaoh pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two hosts came in view of each other, Moses' companions said: 'We have been reached' 61 He replied: Nay indeed! My Sustainer is with me, [and] He will guide me!" 62 Then We revealed unto Musa, saying: smite thou the sea with thy staff. So it became separated, and each part was like unto a cliff mighty. 63 And We brought near, there, the others. 64 We delivered Moses and every one with him, 65 Then drowned the others. 66 In this there was certainly evidence (of the Truth), but most of them did not have any faith. 67 Verily your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 68
