The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 Striking sparks of fire 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 And what is in the breasts is made apparent? 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11
