And recite unto them the story of Ibrahim. 69 when he asked his father and his people, "What is that which you worship?" 70 They replied: "We worship idols and are devoted to them." 71 He said, 'Do they hear you when you call, 72 Or do they benefit you, or do you harm?" 73 They said, "But we found our fathers doing thus." 74 He said: have ye observed that which ye worship 75 Ye and your fathers of old? 76 are my enemies? Not so the Lord of the Universe. 77 Who created me, and He [it is who] guides me. 78 It is He who gives me food and drink 79 And heals me when I am sick, 80 And He Who will cause me to die, then give me life; 81 "And Who, I hope will forgive me my faults on the Day of Recompense, (the Day of Resurrection)," 82 My Lord! Vouchsafe me wisdom and unite me to the righteous. 83 and grant me an honourable reputation among posterity, 84 And make me one of the inheritors of the Paradise of Delight; 85 "Forgive my father, for that he is among those astray; 86 Do not betray me 87 The Day when there will not benefit [anyone] wealth or children 88 But to him who comes to God with a tranquil heart." 89 And Paradise shall be brought forward for the godfearing, 90 And the (Hell) Fire will be placed in full view of the erring. 91 They will be asked: "Where are those you worshipped 92 beside Allah? Can they be of any help to you, or even be of any help to themselves?" 93 Then will they be hurled therein, they and the seducers 94 Together with the hordes of Iblis. 95 "They will say there in their mutual bickerings: 96 they will say, "By God, we were in clear error 97 when we assigned to you a position equal to that of the Lord of the Universe. 98 Only the sinful ones made us go astray. 99 Now we have no intercessors, 100 Nor any sincere friend. 101 Then if we only had a return [to the world] and could be of the believers... " 102 Verily! In this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 103 Surely, Your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 104

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
توجد تمارين تحفيظ للوضعين العربي الأصلي والعربي المخطوط بأحرف إنجليزية فقط. ولا تحتوي الترجمة الإنجليزية على تمارين حفظ.
There are memorization exercises for the original Arabic and English transliterated Arabic modes only. The English translation mode has no memorization exercises.
