The people of Noah rejected the messengers. 105 when their brother Noah said unto them: "Will you not be conscious of God? 106 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 107 fear God, and obey me. 108 "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds: 109 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we place our faith in thee, even though [only] the most abject [of people] follow thee?" 111 He said: 'I have no knowledge of what they have done. 112 Their reckoning is upon my Lord, if ye but knew. 113 “And I will not repel the Muslims.” 114 I am nothing but a plain warner." 115 They said: If thou cease not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be among those stoned (to death). 116 Then Noah said, "Lord, my people have rejected me. 117 hence, lay Thou wide open the truth between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me!" 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 And drowned the rest of them. 120 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 121 And indeed your Lord, only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
