The people of Nuh rejected the apostles. 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you not fear Allah? 106 I am for you an honest Messenger, 107 "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. 108 For this I ask of you no wage, for my wage falls only on the Lord of the Worlds. 109 Have fear of God and obey me." 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we accept you even though it is the meanest of people who follow you?" 111 He said, 'What knowledge have I of that they have been doing? 112 It is for my Lord to bring them to book, if you can understand. 113 I will not drive away the believers. 114 I am only a clear warner." 115 They said, "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will surely be of those who are stoned." 116 He said, "My Lord, indeed my people have denied me. 117 So open between me and them an opening, and save me and the believers who are with me' 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 Then We drowned thereafter the remaining ones. 120 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 121 And thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
