The people of Noah rejected the Messengerss. 105 When their brother Nuh said to them: Will you not guard (against evil)? 106 "I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 107 "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. 108 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 109 Have fear of God and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: Shall we believe in you while the meanest follow you? 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they may have been doing (in the past)? 112 Their reckoning is upon my Lord, if ye but knew. 113 I am not going to drive away any believers. 114 I am naught but a plain warner. 115 They said: If thou cease not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be among those stoned (to death). 116 He said: My Lord! Surely my people give me the lie! 117 therefore, judge decisively between me and them; and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 We saved him and those who were with him in the laden ship, 119 and drowned the rest. 120 In this [story,] behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 121 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 122
