Hizb 38
< random >
The people of Nuh rejected the apostles. 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you not fear Allah? 106 "I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 107 fear God, and obey me. 108 I ask of you no recompense for it, for my only reward is with the Lord of the Universe, 109 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe in you when no one has followed you except the lowest ones". 111 He said, "What knowledge do I have of their doings? 112 Lo! their reckoning is my Lord's concern, if ye but knew; 113 I am not going to drive away any believers. 114 'I am naught but a plain warner.' 115 They said: "If thou desist not, O Noah! thou shalt be stoned (to death)." 116 He prayed: "O Lord, verily my people accuse me of lies. 117 hence, lay Thou wide open the truth between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me!" 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the loaded ark, 119 Then We drowned the rest (disbelievers) thereafter. 120 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 121 But surely your Lord is mighty and merciful. 122
