The people of Noah also rejected the messengers. 105 When their brother Nuh said to them: Will you not guard (against evil)? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger sent to you. 107 fear God, and obey me. 108 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 109 So fear Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They said: Shall we believe in you while the meanest follow you? 111 Said he: "And what knowledge could I have as to what they were doing [before they came to me]? 112 Their reckoning is upon my Lord, if ye but knew. 113 It is not for me to repel those who choose to believe. 114 I am only a plain admonisher." 115 They said, 'If thou givest not over, Noah, thou shalt assuredly be one of the stoned.' 116 He said: "O my Lord! truly my people have rejected me. 117 So open between me and them an opening, and save me and the believers who are with me' 118 So We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 and then We caused those who stayed behind to drown. 120 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 121 surely your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 122
