(The tribe of) A'ad denied the messengers (of Allah). 123 When their fellowman Hud said to them, “Do you not fear?” 124 I am for you an honest Messenger. 125 Have fear of God and obey me. 126 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being. 127 Do you construct on every elevation a sign, amusing yourselves, 128 And take ye for yourselves castles that haply ye may abide. 129 When you assault, you assault like tyrants! 130 So fear Allah, and obey me. 131 Have fear of Him Who has provided you with all the (good) things you know; 132 "He has aided you with cattle and children. 133 and with gardens and springs. 134 indeed, I fear for you the torment of an awful day." 135 They said: It is all one to us whether thou preachest or art not of those who preach; 136 this is nothing but the habit of the ancients, 137 “And we will not be punished.” 138 And they denied him, so We destroyed them. Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 139 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 140

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
