And those who disbelieve say: "When we have become dust, we and our fathers, shall we really be brought forth (again)? 67 Indeed we and our fathers had been promised this before. It is nothing but the earlier people's lore." 68 Say, "Travel through the land and see how terrible was the end of the criminal ones". 69 Do not sorrow for them, nor be thou straitened for what they devise. 70 And they say: When will this threat come to pass, if you are truthful? 71 Say, "It may be that a part of what you would hasten on is close behind you." 72 And surely your Lord is the Lord of grace to men, but most of them are not grateful. 73 And most surely your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they manifest. 74 All the secrets in heavens and earth are recorded in the illustrious Book. 75 This Quran explains to the children of Israel much of what they differ over, 76 it is a guidance, and a mercy unto the believers. 77 Verily thy Lord will decide between them by His Decree: and He is Exalted in Might, All-Knowing. 78 So rely upon Allah; indeed, you are upon the clear truth. 79 Thou shalt not make the dead to hear, neither shalt thou make the deaf to hear the call when they turn about, retreating. 80 just as thou canst not lead the blind [of heart] out of their error; none canst thou make hear save such as [are willing to] believe in Our messages, and thus surrender themselves unto Us. 81 ۞ And when the Word falls on them, We will bring out from the earth a beast that shall speak to them: 'Indeed the people were not certain of Our verses.' 82
