Indeed, We sent Noah to his people, and he tarried among them a thousand years, all but fifty; so the Flood seized them, while they were evildoers. 14 So We delivered him and the inmates of the ark, and made it a sign to the nations. 15 And (remember) Abraham. When he said to his people 'Worship Allah and fear Him. That would be best for you, if you but knew. 16 You worship idols in place of God and invent lies. Surely those you worship other than God have no power over your means of livelihood. So seek your sustenance from God, and worship Him and give Him thanks. To Him will you be brought back in the end. 17 “And if you deny, then many nations have denied before you; and the Noble Messenger is not responsible except to plainly convey (the message).” 18 See they not how Allah originates creation, then repeats it. Verily, that is easy for Allah. 19 Say: "Travel in the land and see how (Allah) originated creation, and then Allah will bring forth (resurrect) the creation of the Hereafter (i.e. resurrection after death). Verily, Allah is Able to do all things." 20 He punishes whom He will, and shows mercy to whom He will, and to Him you will be returned. 21 You cannot challenge God in the heavens or in the earth. No one besides God is your guardian or helper. 22
